CLUBS

Several different groups rent the Lacombe and District Agricultural Society facilities to host meetings and run events. These clubs have been running for many years and are easy to join or participate in. To rent our facilities for your own club, see our Rental page.

Better Dog World

Better Dog World is a dog training program run on the Lacombe and District Agricultural Society grounds. The classes teach owners how dogs learn and how to keep a strong bond with their pet. Better Dog World's services include Private one-on-one sessions with the entire family; Group 5-week classes paced for small groups; and Game classes for dogs to learn tricks, tracking, obstacles and have fun with their owners. Anyone can join a class with their dog.

4-H Clubs

Lacombe and District Agricultural Society hosted last year's clubs from Crestomere, West Central, Central Lacombe, Nebraska, and East Lacombe. 4-H is for youth aged 9-20 and anyone can join. 4-H helps the club members become outgoing and confident leaders. They learn to take responsibility, set goals, plan projects/events and work towards a greater purpose - making the youth of today great leaders of tomorrow.

L.A. Vintage Machinery Club

The L.A. Vintage Machinery Club's focus is to preserve antique farm equipment and vehicles. The club has their own building on the Lacombe and District Agricultural Society grounds where their members come in to work and tinker with various machines. The L.A. Vintage Machinery Club has their meetings once a month and invites anyone who likes to work on machines to come in.

Lacombe Light Horse Association

The Lacombe Light Horse Association operates on a section of the Lacombe and District Agricultural  Society's grounds. LLHA runs classes and puts on three shows per year. All shows are open to members and to the general public.
